We are delighted to announce that Andreas Künne, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Prague, has agreed to become a patron of the Janáček Brno 2024 festival!
This year’s programme is also to feature the renowned German ensembles Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, Staatskapelle Berlin and Bamberger Symphoniker. The interpretation of Czech works by foreign ensembles provides a completely new perspective and extends the legacy of Czech music far beyond the borders of its birth, and international co-operation leads to unique results that promise an unforgettable experience for festival visitors.
It is a great honour for us that the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany has acknowledged the importance of the festival in the role it plays in international cultural co-operation by conferring his patronage.
President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, Prime Minister Petr Fiala, Minister of Culture Martin Baxa, Governor of the South Moravian Region Jan Grolich and Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno Markéta Vaňková have also become patrons of the festival along with Ambassador Andreas Künne.
